The Institute of Pulmonology, Medical Research and Development (IPMRD) was incorporated in May 2004 as a non profit organization with the purpose of development of pulmonary medicine and education in India and to perform clinical and basic research.

IPMRD aims to make human, financial, infrastructure and scientific resources available for efficient respiratory medical services and research. The advisory and scientific board of IPMRD consists of eminent national and international personalities.

How will IPL 2019 be ?

This year the course program will be for three days. IPL LIVE will consist of live demonstration of cases on day 1. We also plan to have a thoracic ultrasound workshop on day 1.

The 1st half on day 2 and day 3 shall be didatics & cover the clinical aspects of a disease in which there is a role of diagnostic and therapeutic interventional pulmonology procedures.

During IPL 2019 we shall have 2 half days of masterclass (day 2 & day 3) which shall be in the form of breakout sessions. Each breakout session will focus on a particular technique and cover clinical and technical aspect of the procedure along with hands on training. Some of the breakout sessions with limited duration, will be rotational. The Master Classes with enhanced duration will have limited registrations. The delegates opting for such dedicated Master Classes will not rotate through other Master Classes on that particular day. Registration for masterclasses is on first come first basis.
